Several of our personnel and a couple members of Trappe Fire Company No. 1 are working to attain their certification as an Emergency Medical Responder. Emergency Medical Responder is a 56-hour course which provides training for pre-hospital care at a level higher than that of First Aid but below that of an Emergency Medical Technician.
This training along with acquisition of additional medical equipment is in preparation for implementation of our medical Quick Response Service (QRS). Look for more information soon about our QRS service which will launch in February. |
