Several of our firefighters completed the final day of an Emergency Vehicle Operator Training Course conducted by Chester County Department of Emergency Services. This course equips drivers with a broad range of competencies associated with emergency vehicle driving, such as basic understanding of emergency vehicle operations as well as skills necessary for practical and safe application of driving on a competency course. Our drivers must complete this training course along with our own multi-tiered in-house driver training program before they may drive our department vehicles.
