At 12:43 PM, our department was alerted for an engine to assist Kimberton Fire Company with a brush fire along Route 113 (Pike Springs Road) in East Pikeland Township.

Chief, Engine, Utility 65-1 and Utility 65-2 responded to the incident. Our firefighters assisted with water supply, pulling apart brush and debris on the ground and extinguishing the fire.

Phoenixville crews cleared the scene in just under two hours. An Engine from Lower Providence Fire Department was transferred to Phoenixville to assist with any additional emergencies during this time.
