At 2:18 PM, our department and TowerDirect EMS were alerted for a vehicle crash at Emmett Street and Franklin Avenue. The caller reported two vehicles were involved with unknown injuries.

Chief, Rescue, Fire Police, and MICU 65-2 responded on the assignment. Crews arrived on scene to confirm two vehicles were involved with two injured persons. One patient was transported by ambulance to Chester County Hospital, the second person declined treatment. Firefighters assisted with clearing debris and fluids from the roadway. Fire police assisted with traffic control.

Our personnel cleared the scene after about 30 minutes. MICU 65-1 then responded to a medical emergency on Vanderslice Street.
